Obituary of Andrew Sirdashney
Andrew “Andy” Sirdashney, Age 50, of Berlin, NJ, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, October 5th.
Loving husband of Jennifer Brown Sirdashney, he is survived by his beloved children Andrew and Rachel. Treasured son of Loretta and Bob Sirdashney, son-in-law of Maxine Brown and Robert “Binky” Brown. Adored brother of David/Danielle, Noel, Michael/Erica, Kay Sirdashney and Peter Brown. “Uncle Funny” to Jeffrey, Sidney, Shane, Mark, Faith, Skylar, Shawn, Eric, Shepard, Chelsea and Nicholas.
Formerly of Scotch Plains, New Jersey, Andy attended St. Bartholomew’s School, Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, and the Teterboro School of Aeronautics. A work ethic second to none, Andy delivered newspapers from the time he was 11. Working at Suburban Realty, McDonald’s, Piedmont Airlines and American Airlines at Philadelphia International Airport, Andy was a well-respected Airplane Mechanic and Line Maintenance Supervisor with over 30 years of service.
A long-time resident of Winslow Township, Andy was the Safety Officer of Winslow Township Little League. As author of the Winslow Township Little League Safety Awareness Program, Andy was awarded many regional and national prizes, including field lighting for the Calabrese Girls Softball Fields.
To know him was to love him. Andy’s smile was infectious and he was adored by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday evening 4-7PM at the COSTANTINO FUNERAL HOME 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE BERLIN, NJ 08009. Funeral service 7PM.
